Welcome to the new sister group to :iconxnalara-customized:!

Here you can find all the artwork that Deviant's have created using the increasingly popular program called XnaLara!

There are a few things I want to mention to you all before you get started!

1) This is for Xnalara Art ONLY. No MMD, no Poser. Nothing like that. XNA ONLY!

2)No models here! Only artwork made USING the models!

3)Nudity is completely welcomed along with violence and gore. Please direct the Nudity to the NAUGHTY folder though, please.

4)We're completely open to all affiliates just like always!

5)If you have ANY questions, never hesitate to throw them our way. Its a new group, I'm sure there will be concerns about this and that so just let them fly!

6)Any skill level is welcome here. We don't care if you use the default gray background and stone floor or full scale environments and editing. Whatever. Just post your work and we'll be happy!

7)We do NOT, under any circumstances tolerate bullying or negative judgement of artwork. If you don't like a picture, move on. Do not harass someone because their work isn't up to your 'par'. Unless they want the critique, leave them alone please.

And that should be it for now!
Please enjoy what you find here and feel free to post freely!
So I recently made a DOA folder at the request of a member. Upon moving the images, I've discovered that not only are there a million DOA images, there are also a million wrongly placed pictures. How hard is it to read the folder names and put your pictures where they belong?
There are almost 70 pages of 'Everything Else' images.
I'll bet 20 or more of those pages are things that do not belong there. I'm going to try and slowly move things to where they belong but in the mean time, I'm looking for a new co-owner, as my former helper decided to no longer keep to the duties given to them.
I will also be making the 'Everything Else' folder APPROVE ONLY. This means you will not be able to submit art there unless I say you can. This should keep people from wrongly placing pictures. Don't be upset with me if your submission is rejected. You need to pay attention to what you are doing and stop being lazy.

I'll be making more folders as well, so keep an eye out for those before you submit to the place you usually do.

Until then, I hope to get someone to help out, properly.

hey guys :3 can anyone tell me how to apply a spec map so it works correctly in blenders internal engine?  i load the map, change generated to uvmap, tick the spec, hardness and colour boxes and i shuffle the ticks about..but i don't get the wet textures on the DOA bodies. i just get regular specularity. halp pretty please? c:

Before I submit anything I'd like to know if rendering XNALara scenes in an external rendering program is considered against rule 1 of the group "XNALara Art ONLY". I pose my characters and build the scene in XNA, but rather than use the "save image" function of the 3D window, I export the entire scene as a .obj, import it into Daz Studio, light and render it that way. So my XNA art is essentially 99.9% XNA, 1% Daz Studio. The difference is merely good quality VS bad quality, since XNALara does not have a render engine, the output is only as good as your real-time 3D graphics capabilities. Mine would have jaggies and look like average screenshots if I didn't properly render them externally. Is this okay? Yay or nay?

So let me get this straight.. It is possible to download game characters from this site designed for XNAlara.... Then somehow use DAZ3D for advanced rendering? Could you help me out with that please... Also noob question... With XNAlara models... do they support Genesis/other types of body morphs. I don't mean just move arms  and legs. I mean making body parts larger or smaller/changer scale, make a character fat or skinny.. That kind of thing. :) Thanks in advance for any helpful info on this. As this is so much cheaper than using official DAZ V5 models and props... Plus I can now finally do my own Resident Evil parody;D

That is absolutely fine. As long as the base image or modeling came from
XNAlara, then you should be totally fine. I personally use a variety of other
programs to do my final pieces.

Neither both of them, mate. It's already been like that since the rendering process also involving in XNALara/XPS. There's way too many of the rendered one on this group if you browse the folder one by one. Feel free to contribute your art should you take a liking to it. Any questions ?

Nope. As long as that is not a problem then I have no more questions for now, I'll submit a few things. Thanks!
